are there any weak points to the losi mini crawler. how much do you have to put in to it to make it a scaler.

LOL....You can do it for about 50 for a L-trail frame and a Jeep body form TCS. Plus a few more $ for some spacers and such.

no real specific weak points until you start modding them. there is a thread on here about parts people have broken. check there.

the shocks and the plastic lockers are usually the first to go

Shocks were junk out of the box, sent the servo packing after 2 weeks of indoor couch and small rock garden crawling, other than that no probs.

my shocks were leaky too, just replaced the shafts, stock ones seem to be brushed stainless! and broke a locker, replaced all of them with losi upgrades
