Took me quite a bit of troubleshooting to figure out what it was....4 different deans plugs and a voltmeter pulling my nonexistent hair out. Solder up a fresh deans, check with the meter..8.4v, ok plug it into the truck, nothing, unplug check with the meter, 8.4v....repeat process many times, until I decided to open it up and have a look. Works like a charm now

So you think the stock springs are softer or do you know this for a fact??? I asked the question and I didn't get any definitive answer.

Your MRC looks BA. I'd love to have that chassis and those wheels!

I need a job because I want to blow money on toys again!

Despite the snow and rain and slick conditions, it was a fun comp. After the first course I had to swap out the Losi battery, it simply died on me, but it was a lemon to begin with. I picked up a backup pack from my LHS yesterday(Zippy 800mah) that worked great the rest of the day. It won't fit on the front plate, so I'll be doing some remodeling in the chassis........OK, just moving things around

The fronts are softer than the rears

I did swap in a Losi Frenzy motor yesterday, I am VERY happy with that motor, even geared down the pinion 2 teeth. I will be swapping the stock pinion on it to see how it works, it doesn't stall out now, and has more wheelspeed than any motor I've had, but I'd still like a little more, if it will still retain the low end power

Just to make sure I'm on the same page. The fronts on your rig are softer than the rears or the stock MRC has softer springs in the front? I know the MRC has one stiffer spring in the left rear for torque steer, but I thought the other 3 springs were the same.

The silver springs that come on the stock truck, feel softer than the blue ones that come on the upgrade shocks

Thanks for the pics Dave, that climb to gate 5 was tough, had to get just the right line on that one, be it on the left crack or right crack

To sum it up in one word....AMAZING is all I have to say. I haven't even started tuning it yet, and it's just nutty already. I do need some more wheelspeed, the Mini-T motor has more speed/power than the stocker(hobby shop didn't have any Slider motors on hand)but I'd like just a little more.

I swapped in a stock Mini-T motor this morning

Not sure about 3rd but 5th had a stock chassis with all the freebie mods to it and a set of 1.9" Flatirons.

Ok 3rd place was this rig...

Great Video. What motor and pinion gear are you running in that video? Looks to have nice low end power and great wheel speed.
