Do you mean 6-32?
Your local hardware store might have SS, but Home Depot & Lowes carry reg steel allthread. What about 3mm from your local hobby store?

the BEST source for thin stainless rods that i have found are stainless steel arc welding rods. they are nice and straight, are a convenient length to work with, and once you knock the flux off of them, and give em a buff with some scotch-brite or polish, they are excellent for all kinds of RC building.

No i meant 5/32, actually 6/32 would be 3/16 right? Maybe 3/16 would work but i dont want it to have threads on it for looks. There was a guy on here making them but he's not making them any more. I have a 3mm die to put some threads on the end of the rod. I just don't want the hole shaft to have threads on it for better looks. Just don't know where to get it Lowes does'nt have it.

You could use 6/32 threaded rod and traxxas 1942 rod ends. The cover the treards with some aluminum tubing or delrin tube.
