I run a 2s on my front links and i've only charged my battery twice in the past month. i don't know exact run time but i'd guess 30-40 mins, i only crawl though, i don't speed my truck around the room or drive it around the house following it.

I got the 1320MAH's and I swear I can run 3 comps and play for about 45 minutes before one has ever died!!!

Do you need to do any mods to run a lipo? Seems like I read something about a lipo cutoff on the esc?

some will say so...but I don't use one. I use the stock esc with a 1320 2 cell. Just stop driving when there is a power-drop off...its quite obvious with a lipo. Also make sure to use a lipo-designated charger.

The charge will get too low, and you can not recharge it.

Default cut off

You could invest in a lipo cut off, it cuts the throttle off when the battery gets below 3v per cell. I have a novak 2C cut off, I thin was about $35ish.
