for some reason those tubers just look like extra bars added to black mrc chassis. maybe if you took off the actual tuber part it would be a good chassis. good job on the truck and nice paint job

The DMG chassis side plates are far more substantial than the stock side plates. More customizable too. I think the tubers change the entire look of the MRC from toy to machine. I would like to see what Jerry could make that would be a little more scale. I think thats why I liked his NAT v1 so much, it seemed to be a more appropriate size for the rig.

FYI to drvnbeing, you can actually get both the ESC and the receiver on the little metal tray inside the frame if you want to. One fits on top, the other on the bottom. It cleans up the look of the rear axle area., keeps everything nice and tight. Sweet rig BTW.

I kind of thought the same when I first saw this, but after getting this the chassis is actually a lot bigger than stock, shock holes are almost exactly where they were on the chassis I had fabricated. This is a very well thought out/designed chassis. Truth of the matter you could take the tuber of and put a shell back on if you wanted too.

No problem. On my NAT v3 I have the receiver on top and ESC underneath. Both are just held on with some velcro stickers, works great.

The bashers do pretty good. A hell of a lot better than stock, but I just ordered some flat irons today after seeing them preform at a comp this last weekend.

Thanks for your info. I'm torn between the flatirons, the bashers and the blue claws. I do kind of like the clerance of the flatirons.
