Default will the stock ecs handle the HH torquemaster?

was wondering if the stock ecs handle the holmes torquemaster motor?

I emailed that same question to John and this was his answer:



It seems to be hit or miss with the stock ESC. Mine didn't work with the aftermarket motor, but many many people had no issue. I recommend an aftermarket ESC so that you at least know there is a chance the ESC could burn up. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Mine has been working fine. But I just ordered a Tekin FXR because I love that ESC!!! And I won't have to worry about my Lipo anymore.

same here....running a mini TM with a 2s lipo on the stock esc for a while now with no issues. I will be getting an FXR soon just in case.
