Default advice

i just got my MRC last night and wile it was charging i took apart my car and made a back 3 link cover and i put the battery on the servo. i was wondering how much wait i should i put in my tires and I'm getting some flat irons for it soon, should i put my stock foams from my losi claws and put them in there or should i leave my stock foams in my losi claws and just cut them down. would that help my car out from flipping over?

I'd run about 3-5oz in each front wheel. As for foams, the stock claws just aren't a great compound. Leave them as is and order up a set of blue compound claws or the new G8 Flat irons.

I would put 6oz in each front tire and none in the rear,Foams I really have never had a set of flat irons so I cannot help you there but I would leave the tire where it is pretty soft because the trucks are light weight

You will have to do the pvc mod ,I dont know if that is exactly what it is but people are taking some kind of plastic pipe and cutting it to width and sliding it over the wheel and drilling through the beadlock ring and tapping it and there you go you will have beadlocks .There is probably more to it than that so you might want to search and find it to make sure

Gluing the tires on the stock wheels is very difficult to do in my opinion due to the section they give you to hold the tire on. The PVC mod is something like our Beadlock Spacers found here: http://rcbros.com/cart/Scripts/prodV...?idproduct=336 ABS plastic that slides over the rims and allows the outer rings to pinch the tire tight. Along with the link in the description you'll see a link for a how-to on how to go about the process.

I did the PVC mod this weekend. I ended up cutting them to .67 tho. That gave me a 1/16th of tire to squish in either bead ring. It made installation much easier too. If that's not enough to hold them, I'd be very surprised!

Ok why no wieght in the rear I've read almost everything here and most people run 1/2 or less than the front. I get you want a heavy front. I tend to take a note when a HEAVY HITTER as yourself makes a setup tip.

I to dont run weight in the rear either, wether its true or not, I feel that more weight on front creates a weight bias towards the front. From the theory of a stability triangle I want the front to be pushing itself downward as often as possible, having more weight on front and none in the rear creates this balance.

I"ve added a total of 12.5 oz to my truck 8.5 up front and 4 in the rear I definetly got front heavy I guess I will try to take the rear weight out and see how she crawls.
