1: Will know more when I get ALL my parts done in a final version. I'm still experimenting with link materials and spacers for the center links. But think cheap.
2. I believe your referring to pinion angle? Our kit will bring the pinion angle up slightly higher then that of stock.
3. As mentioned in #1, I'm looking at a few link options. (Titanium Turnbuckles, delrin, aluminum etc..) In all honesty this will be the cost factor of our chassis. It can make or break the bank, I want something thats strong yet easy and cheap for me to produce.
4. I feel that where our shocks mount on the V2 chassis is a perfect fit, therefore the shocks themselves mount in virtually the same postions, the pics just look deceiving.
5. See #3 and #1

I was able to get some good crawling in today and this thing simply abosolutely shocks me, it does amazingly well off camber and climbing steep angles its simply shocking.

I've been watching from the beginning of the thread and waiting patiently. It sucks when the delay is something you can't control, like waiting in line on the machine shop backlog. Could you post some more pictures of the body off and the rig in action on the rocks?
Thanks.

I will be editing some video tomorrow when I get home of the crawler in action. Depending on my internet connection it'll be online tomorrow night.

oh hey, I just noticed something, and wanted to ask.

It looks like by the pics that the tranny plate sticks out past the frame rails. what are the chances that it will get hung up on the rocks?

Yes, the trany does stick out some, however its still narrower then stock. Through testing we have not once had a problem with it getting hung up, your body does most of the work, and this type of set is used on many many different designed chassis.

I will have the TVP's and skid out soon!

A lot of the comp chassis have the motor and/or transmission stick out past the chassis plates. Like RCBros said it shouldn't be a problem since the body is covering that anyway. Plus, the benefit is that it makes the skidplate, a part that does get hung up, much narrower!

Will the skid plate fit the V2 chassis? I just built up the skulz V2 and don't really want to buy something else already.

sorry but the comp skid plate wont work with the V2 due to motor and tranny stick out the side of the chassis...

Lookin good! Do you have an estimated release date yet? Like are we talking next month?

How much weight do you have on the wheels? Do you have weight anywhere else? And what motor is that?
