It is the whole reason that I really decided to build this truck now. The box of parts is sitting next to me right now, I am going to get started on installing all the hop ups. Gotta get that Spektrum stuff ripped outta there and pitched STAT!

Well quit posting and start building. That will minimize time for excuses as to why stuff doesnt work!

AARRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

I am not a fan of Losi right now. Looks like something was tweaked at the factory lately and not for the better. I went to install my new lockers and here is what happened with the slightest input from the screwdriver.

I tell you what, I doubt I will buy another kit any time soon Until I see them say they have specifically addressed this problem I will not purchase another.

With how quick those screws broke I doubt that thing would have made it one trip on the rocks. I am definitely pissed.

I did have my Dinky MRC laying around still so I had to rape parts off of it :-(

So I stole the diff gears out of it, the rear one on it was even too tight. I just gave up for the night on these damn diffs. I went ahead and added the rest of the goodies for now though.

I am giving up for tonight. I am frustrated and cranky.

Wow that is crazy, and definitely sucks to see. I have 4 Losi MRC's and have not had that issue on any of them.

I had pretty piss poor luck with mine as well. I managed to break a few of the dff bolts as well, I sure am not looking forward to building another one of these diffs, thats for damn sure.

Yup, seems like a machine got tweaked for a little more torque or a little too much locktite or something. I am just disappointed. I am sure Horizon will get it taken care of.

Theres another thread about this same problem. I believe rich from Losi has said that if anything like this happens hit him up and he can see what he can do. If you have a brand new #0 phillips this should help with a little heat to break up the loctite. This is what I will try when I get mine.

Yeah I just stopped with the other one out of the Dinky MRC so I could just get a fresh driver and try it. Burning a whole night on this is what makes me the most mad.

Here is the thread I was talking about. He said try a new good driver and that should do it.

has anyone else had this issue?

I am going to have my soldering iron set to low and have a fresh bit on hand.

Thanks for checking out my package

Those are the wideners you see here. I also used them on the Dinky MRC.

Ahhh the Dinky tuber, this the first one made by Muddauber7. He has a thread in this section about it. Search his user name for threads created in here. It is a heat formed lexan hood. It is the sickest MRC tuber that has been built to date (until you see the next batch).

And thanks Cory, for a fee I will shave TSS in my chest hair And how did you know I wear boxers
