Default locker

Hi i just bought metal lockers and cvds and my locker cover on one side(cant remember which) wont budge at all the other side came off fine but the screws have broken a screwdriver what do i do?

Make sure you have a nice new screwdriver for the task. Rich the losi guy said that you need a good driver and maybe use a little heat to break up the threadlock. If you have an adjustable soldering iron turn it all the way down and hold on the screw head for a short while then it should help come out.

you can always try the motor spray, light the locker on fire, let it burn out and that should help with the thread locker coming lose, good luck

I heated up a sharp pointed nail with a propane torch until it was pretty hot. Then put the tip right into the center of the screw and hold it for a couple seconds.
That should loosen the threadlock.

Also, the screwdriver I used was a #00 tip. The one I used was new, and had a good sharp tip.

Every single screw on all three lockers came out easily using this method.

Yes but put only a tiny bit. The more you put on the more you will fight with if you need to take it apart.

oh,yeah, i got the HR aluminum ones and "broke" out the plastic. so just the gear w/ screws was there, sorry i didnt mention that
