i took off my tires and wrapped lead solder around the rims for some cheap extra weight. also when i bought mine i got 2 lipo upgrade kits so i keep one mounted to the front and one to the back axle.

Here are a few cheap and easy mods that can really change your game

clocked collars

The mod is super easy, just used the dremmel to make a new flat for the collar.
The material is thick enough in that area of the axle housing.
Then drill and tap,your done.

overdrive mod

You just use a traxxas mini revo pinion gear in place of your stock pinion up front.
There may be a little shimming of the pinion and or ring gear for proper mesh.

underdrive mod

Link to info here, just read, absorb the info provided and get to work

Crawler Mafia UnderDrive Mod

Knuckle weight mod

Super work putting this together!

Every model thread should have a comprehensive post like this!

But then again, you can use this list to search for Axial compatible parts as well, from these vendors.

Exclamation Mrc cv axles. Broken!!!

Hey, I just got the front CV axles for my Losi MRC, and I already broke 3 of them! They are made out of cheap crappy aluminum and are a waste of money! Does anyone know where I can get some that are REALLY DURABLE? PLEASE REPLY

i found a way to use the lower rear links as upper links and it gets rid of the torque twist associated with a brushless system. has this been done? i raised up my rear 4 link plate with 6mm spacers and longer screws, works great, true test will be at the comp tonight
