The upper links will vary according to the design of your 4 link mount plate and how much rotation/angle you want on the pinion.

I am currently working on a DIY 4 link for the front and rear. I have already completed the rear setup, and am engineering (read: trying to figure out how to) the front. I will most likely have a write up sometime tomorrow with all pieces, and part numbers, as well as lengths, angles, and tips. But like I said, it'll be tommorow... I'm pretty stumped on the front, but then again, I have been working on this for two days straight trying to figure out the cheapest, best, easiest and most well engineered way possible that doesnt require ordering any plates or adapters. As it stands now, I can easily tell you how to do the front, or rear, but I cant tell you how to do it with parts available at any LHS just yet, mostly cause I dont know what the front is gonna take. Gimmie till tommorow tho, and I'll have you all set up K. |

Somebody on this site used Axial tubes as upper links on their MRC. I wish I remembered the length. The length of the Axial tubes, used by somebody else on this site, is 55mm. I haven't tried so don't blame me if the length doesn't work for you! Last edited by JatoTheRipper; 04-10-2009 at 11:05 AM. |
