Default Stopped working, AGAIN

Well I called horizon hobbys to see if they knew what was wrong with my MRC. My ESC blinks red when I first turn it on, and no power or anything. So Horizon sent me a new ESC but it still does the same thing. What's really wrong with it?

no, everything is stock. With the old ESC, I tried to reset it (according to one post I found on here while searching) by throttle forward press button, reverse-push button, nuetral-push button. But it didn't work.

Have you tried another servo? I have noticed that this happens a lot when there is too much drain in the system somewhere or in the servo. Try another servo or even think about a BEC?!

if your ESC blinks red, try to replace the radio batteries... I know sound stupid... Brand new battereis just went in... I went through about 24 brand new batteries before I figured it out...

Ya know thats a really good point. All stock losi ESC's blink red when you turn them on. And they all take about 15-20sec while they bind, and find each other. Replacing the batteries in the radio my well cure the problem
Give it a shot with good batteries

got some, waiting for them to charge. I just want to say that before, I could hear the MRC come on, but now I can't. And I don't remember if there was a green light from the receiver or ESC when it was working/on but there isn't one now. FWIW

I got a charger and 4 1800 mah rechargables from Wal-Mart for bout $18. Battery life improved drastically I was getting 10 runs on average ( I crawl 4-5 times a day) improved to running the entire week before recharging!

more than likely you do not hear the MRC's ESC because the radio and the reciever actually bound together ( HA! I didnt use "binded") that quickly. The more you use the reghargables the more you will notice how the ESC takes longer to bind, thus meaning the rechargables are going dead...

on a good bind the ESC and reciever both will have steady greens...

sounds like the same problem I had with my wife's MRC last weekend.

try making sure that you have it plugged in the correct way, I had my esc plugged into the rec wrong and it wouldn't work till it was flipped around the right way

I AM SUCH AN IDIOT!!!!! My plug was wrong in the receiver. My brother was messing around with it and must have switched it around. It works now. Thanks guys. Now I can finally try it out with my new washer wheel weights.
