Ok... mounting up the axles now...

Just simple... lower links go where they should on the axles... I didn't do anything special here...

4 Link and Servo plates come with the kit... The ones here in the photo are proto types. We have since added a few more holes for the uppers to mount to for adjustability...

Uppers mount in one hole and the other hole is for the servo, front and rear plates are the same.

The 4 link uses the same mounting holes as the stock servo mount, so add the 3 screws per axle that were installed on the MRC out of the box...

Gave her a few tweeks to make sure it is all moving freely and we are set for the front axle...

On the front you will want to isntall the links first, then come back in and install the servo stand offs. The stand offs cover the screws a bit, and you can't get your links fasten if you choose the holes under that area. Go to a hole further back on the new 4 link plates and your ok.

Once I got the uppers bolted in and the 4 links mounted up, time to mount the shocks...

The losi mini crawler springs came with some small shims used to limit the shocks (I think thats what they are for). I used these to shim out the lower mounts. I ran 4 on the rear and 3 on the front per shock. The T1E Mini Rockshow kit comes with 20mm M2 screws, so this will allow you to move the shocks out a bit on the axles.

You can see this in the photo below.

Snap the upper part of the shock in and I am close to having a roller!!

That chassis is awesome. How do you die the chassis. I'm waiting for your final product. Keep up the good work.

I got some Rits dye from the grocery store (Orange Sunshine).

Bought a cheap 10 dollar pot from Walmart and mixed in the die and about 2/3s the pot of water. It was about 2 gallons of water. Brought the dye/water to a boil and cut it down to a nice hot simmer. Tied the parts off to string and then to a stick to suspend it in the water. Keeping it from touching the bottom is key. I will try to get some photos of the next batch of parts I do.

I let it sit for 40 mins, and stirred the water from time to time to keep the dye from settling.

It needs a cross brace in the front. I thought it was really cool until I saw the price. And all the hardware isn't even included?! Good luck selling a plastic chassis at that price.

The mini LST shocks are what im running, cheap, shorter, smooth, aluminum, and fully adjustable. Would be curious to see how they would fit.

Delrin side plates= $10.00 in derin.
Delrin links = $4.00
Kick ass chassis design made out of delrin = $25.00
Your price = SHOCKING
I hope things go well for this chassis but its alot to steep $$ wise for me. Think I will stick with a hand crafted aluminium tube chassis for $50 less.

These shocks are a bit long, and will be tricky getting the proper shock throw while limiting shock height.

Shorter shocks are going to work better with this chassis, but right now I have my MRC Losi Crawler Shocks limited about an 1/4 inch. Just cut a little fuel tube and good to go for now.

You can see the shock on the left is limited the one on the right is stock. Could use a bit more I think, but will test with this once its all done and see how she performs...

Next will be the 4 link and axle mount up... Then putting the shocks on.

Yeah, I will be testing out some of those as well... should be a better fit since they are a bit shorter!

Most of the hard ware is included...

Tranny screws, 4 link screws, ball screws for shocks, 4 M2 screws for axle side link mounts... all came with the kit, are not included.

Ball ends need to be purchased, plus lexan for side panels.

20mm M2 screws for shock mounts at the axle
M3 16mm set screws for upper and lower links
M3 screws for all cross memebers, 4 link, bumbers, upper link, Lower Link chassis side mounts are all included.

Me personally think thats a lot of hardware.

Probably the coolest chassis I have seen yet. Looks like maybe as new design improvements come out you could sell just the parts that change. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive I would love to have one but too much for me. GREAT design love it.
