What kind of cool panels are you planning on using I think black would look cool with the orange |

These shocks are pretty hot. Short, at about 56ish mm. The orange springs got to go, but they do loooook hot on the chassis! I was able to move these back into a suitable position... 3rd hole from the outer ends of the chassis on both front and rear... I spaced these out just like I did the crawler shocks, 4 little black spacers on the rear, and 3 on the front per shock. The uppers mounts are spaced out with 3 4-40 nylon washers as before as well. The shocks come with an insert (not a ball) that you can screw (by force) a 3mm button head through. this only allows for front to back motion, but with my shocks almost straight up and down, and no out boarding, the motion is natrual and there is no binding because of this at all! Its a little tricky getting the 1320 2s Thunder Power pack in and out, but one charge gets me almost 1.5 hours of run time!! Ride height is still at 1 and 7/8ths... so I am still happy with that. Put 40 weight oil in the shocks. This seems to make the rig take longer to settle when one wheel is up in the air. I will probably drop back to 25 at the heaviest. I am going to get the suggested Mini LST Spring set for the rear... http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodId=LOSB1119 And see how these work. Also will be trying the stock MRC Springs and some blue HR springs cut down a bit to see how that works too. |

| The sweetest little ride ever!
I got to see this little thing up close today! I must say it is the sweetest little crawler I've ever seen! The orange is "off the hook"! I did not stay at the comp to see how he finished, but it was well!

Yes.... once I find a good spring combo for them, I think they will be great. We comp'd this past Saturday, 3rd place for my Rockshow MRC and Rockshow finished 1st.... Play'd a good bit afterwards too, and found some pretty increadible climbs and such that these little things can do... Reminds me of where I was with my AX10 a year ago! | |

NICE.. Lookin' good Silas, If it performs half as good as it looks, your GOLDEN Can't wait to see those panels, they will have to be pimp to do justice to that 'perdy chassis. No worries... I've seen your A'brush work I'm sure they will be badass! Last edited by RockAddict75; 05-12-2009 at 01:01 PM. |

Well Purchased 2 packs of springs... Mini T front and rears. The rears fit a lot better, but with the mini late model shocks having adjustable threaded bodies, the fronts work as well. They sit nice, and seem to perform nice on my mini rock course. |
