Steering servos

The stock servo is stripping out on my mrc, never have had the servo saver off of it but its stripping. Any advice on what servo to replace it with? and if there is a y cable available to make it four wheel steer? Thanks is advance!

first off, use the search feature of this site, your issue has been covered many times over. next, if your using the stock electronics id go with a hitec 645mg it has good torque &is used by many mrc owners it is a full size servo( ie; larger than stock) so you will need to come up with a new servo mount. stay away from the mini digital servos as these have a history of frying the stock electronics. again use the search feature it is most helpful, good luck to you"thumbsup"

I'm running a Tower-Hobbies TS-35MG, tiny bit stronger than stock and it will bolt to the stock mount. In retrospect, I wish I'd gone to the 645 though, it's not that much more money and twice the power.

I am using the CKRC Wiggle Servo.

195oz of torque at 6v for $33. I also bought an aluminum servo arm to go with it. So far I have had no issues with it.

That looks like a good servo, hows it working out for you? Looks like its nice and shallow so it wont run into shocks.

Thanks guys! Do these servos still need a servo saver on them? if so will the stock one go on these?

You'll need to buy or make a mount for a full size servo.
