Thanks! Unfortunately, I cant take credit for the paint on that body....it's the same one that was on there when Pinchflat sent me the truck. I will, however, be painting up a new body for Crawlapalooza.

Nice rig. Looks like you got some real nice parts thought out and installed in there. Looks like a real nice wheeling spot too.

Well, I recently sheared off a 2mm bolt in one of my steering knuckles, so I drilled them out and installed some traxxas rod ends. I also painted up a new body:

You should redrill, tap and trim your knuckles to gain 0 ackerman angles

I hadn't thought of that. I dont have the crawler in front of me right now, but IIRC, to get the bolt in line with the kingpin, the tie rod would have to be really close to the kingpin....

I'll look into that when I get home this evening...

Yeah it is. I used the axial offset rod ends, also had to add about 4mm spacers in between the knuckle and tie rod. I shaved the s#$% out of my housing too. I like it this way cause it's high enough and it's really close, so there's less hang ups. I'll post a pic if u want later

Looks great J. Hey, I redrilled my knuckles for zero ackerman, and with the CVD's it is just plain sick. I will show you it on sunday, the key is a new smaller diameter tie rod, and the axial offset rod ends as mentioned. I didn't have to use any spacers or shave anything.
