In what order would you upgrade? (poll type)

If funds were limited in what order would do these mods? For reference I have both a lipo and a nimh, removed the upper plate on the chassis and relocated all the electronics for lower cg and added weight to the front wheels. When you reply just number each one. Thanks

*new wheels/tires
*new 4 link chassis w/full size servo
*new suspension
*new motor + esc
*metal lockers
*other please state

Honestly, if I was getting into the 1.9 scene, I would buy a comp ready one off the boards. Why spend the time and money replacing everything on the mini when you can buy one used for a lot less money thats already upgraded? Probabaly didnt answer your question. Just a speculative guess, I would go with drive train upgrades first, then wheels and tires, and then etc. Or is it tires and wheels first, then drivetrain. I dunno, whatever your budget allows I suppose.

EDIT: Just saw you have a star and only five posts. That sir is awesome.

I would get better tires, like the Chisels, or blue Claws.

Then get metal lockers.

Then work on suspension.

Then replace what you feel it needs.

I would go in this order if limited funds

*metal lockers
*new wheels/tires
*new 4 link chassis w/full size servo
*new motor + esc

x2

If you can't afford both sets of tires just get one set of Chisels. They are most the same size as the stock tires. Just put them on the front. I bought a set yesterday(they had to order the other set) so i stuck them on the front and it made a huge diff. The back tires will help on super steep climbs.

You could get the lockers and one set of tires for under $50 and that would make it so much more capable.

Lockers first definitely. I ordered front and rear right after I got my MRC. Do the center too if you can afford it at the time. My MRC was slightly used and the previous owner had taken off the servo saver, so it didn't take long before the servo started making noises, so I upgraded the servo to a Hitec 645 last week and it is working great(even with it being mounted using zip ties for now:roll: - LHS was out of full size mounts:evil:) Next will be tires for me, but if I hadn't have needed the servo I would have made the tires my 2nd upgrade followed by the servo/chassis, then look into motor and esc options...

Lockers first then cvds then the rest it gets expensive quick.
