Default Lost Pin from Drive Shaft

Hi there!

Sorry, but i have a problem with my new Mini Crawler. :(

I lost the smallest pin of the Drive Shaft. Is there no way to buy only this pin?

All i find is

http://cgi.ebay.de/Antriebswellen-Mi...item3ca53aaa65

but i dont really need the whole set.

Is there an improved version of it? I dont want to replace it all day long.

Thanks alot

Dom

a traxxas body pin fits just about perfect. Just cut to fit and make sure you squash the ends with some pliers to help it stay in place.

Default shaft

just get a small nail that would fit and then bend both ends so it would'nt come off anymore, just make sure that when you bend it, bend it flush so that it doesnt get in the way when you're crawling, permanent fix, i did this on my mrc it works great for a few months now and yes i bash the living daylights out of this thing, mud and all

Buy a drill bit that size, cut to fit, brad (rivet) the ends just a little, then put some electrical shrink tube over that area.

I read somewhere about someone soldering in their pins. Maybe find some copper wire in the right diameter and solder it in to keep it in place.

Stick a metal non coated body pin in it, and then bend the end of it around the shaft so it wont come out.

Easy and cheap

here's the ticket use traxxas#1539 you need two of these and one of a traxxas#1951 you will have to cut down the half shafts to fit your length my mini eats the stock shafts for breakfast thanks to a brushless motor so far these have stood up to full throttle launches up the rocks where the stock shafts would have snapped i tried integy shafts but i snapped them too five sets of stock ones they only last two comps per set in arizona the traxxas parts cost me 16.00 and a hour of my time i think its the only way to go now in my opinion

We have just used some small piano wire, we bend it on one end before installing, then the second one after sliding it on.

Anything small enough to fit will work. I ended up using body clips. So far no issues and was an easy fix..
