| battery tray mod into a droop suspension free
i made a nice droop mod on my mrc and it works great. pics coming soon. basicly she sits real low for assending and it will pop way up over rocks. so how i did it is with the old batt tray that most dont use. you just cut the two ends off the tray so that its just the shock mounts. put the two cut ends on the cassis but do not tighten the screws all the way and let it pivot for the droop . then all you need is a return sring from a hardware store or rubber band ,put it across the two ends of tray. and done

this mod revolutionized my mrc experience so much i had to share it with you all. and although i came up with the idea on my own, i would like to apologize to anyone who came up with the mod before me.but i did look for hours and found nothing.

| return spring
you need one weak spring from a hardware store. but i call it a free mod cause an elastic works the same, but it will need to be replaced often. the only reason you need the sring or elastic is when you get into a realy steep climb the droop would pop up and cause a roll over. with the weak spring to stop this problem the mod is complete. and the droop will only pop up when you bottom out the center ground clearace. so it sits way low but pops up higher than a stock mrc

other than the spring i put threadlocker on the bolts that are left a half turn or a full turn loose. mine never came any looser before i used the locker. but i figured it may be needed for the long run. other mods include, batt on rear axle, flatiron proline tires, got rid of as much torque twist as you can that will have to be a whole other post. losi threaded alum shocks, proline bead lock rims weights in front only ,proline rockstar body, fully waterproofed the truck, next is upgrade driveline components
