They are super smooth and actually are a smaller diameter than the stock shafts, which will be nice if I need to mount the lipos on top of the links.
I've had MIP's in my mini GC2 for nearly a year without one single problem, these are a great product.

I hope not, I'm a little worried about what 3s is gonna do to this thing.

Yes and no. The knuckles are high steer, so the spacers aren't that big. But if I was running stock knuckles the spacers would be huge.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your experiences with them, that is good news.

Ok, let me start by saying LOSI ROCKS! I mean damn, I emailed Rich on Monday telling him about how my Losi CVD's never made it off the bench. I also mentioned that my Losi straight axles bent on the first run out. I supplied him pics and my address. Well, FOUR DAYS LATER THEY ARRIVE!

I'm still blown away by that level of customer service. It is impressive in any business, but especially impressive in a business like RC.

Well, On the rear axle shafts, the replacements have been beefed up. They do not neck down like the first run ones did.

Also you can see the bend in the first run shaft in that pic. The other side is even worse.

I also installed the CVD's with the replaced stubs. Everyone knows that they have a ton of steering, but another nice point is the threaded section on the stub is longer, allowing for bigger wideners and more locknut thread engagement.

With dog bones and stubs.

With CVD's.

And I definitely picked up some more steering, the rovers are now contacting the links at full lock.

Very nice rig you got. I like how you set up that steering. Have you got to test the rovers VS the panthers yet?

I like the idea behind the BTA's but it looks as if the servo is now sicking way out there. Or is it still not as far as the linkage's. Props for making it work for your setup.

Thanks man. And I can see why you would say that, that pics just makes it look worse than it is though. It does hang out a little bit but not near as bad as that pic makes it look. I will try to get some better pics of it soon.

I will let yall know tomorrow, but bench crawling the rovers show a lot of potential. Going to an indoor course at Victory RC tomorrow (freaking rain won't stop). Hopefully I will get some pics.

However, my Thunder Power lipos showed today from Krawler Hobbies, these packs look mean! The pack is as thick as my 45c 850's for the berg!

Haha thanks for the cell pics Eric, you beat me to posting mine.

Well, I really am loving these Rovers, they bite hard. I like this rig twice as much now that I am getting it setup well.

Here is a breakover.

And here is another series of photos.

Look at that tire and Crawler Innovations foams doing work!

Unfortunately I popped a CVD pin, so I think I will be going back to dog bones again.

So, how are you liking the truck now with 3S? Better wheel speed and run time?

Whoops missed the question. I get about 10-20 minutes a pack depending on how I drive it.

Just saw this thread. I like how you built it Shelby, the paint looks great too.
Did you ever do anything different for front axle shafts? Did you lose alot of steering angle going back to the dogbones?

Your rig looks dialed great job! Did you limit the shocks at all? have you tried running the shocks mounted next to the lower links?

Hey Shell, sorry I missed this. I stuck with the CVD's for now. Haven't broken another pin yet, but thats just been luck. I am hopefully gonna do the LCC CVD mod soon, just been busy with the other rigs.

The shocks are limited internally. I don't remember how much, I think around 1/4". But these shocks really blow. They leak insanely and fall apart all the time. The shafts pull out of the rod ends. I am gonna have to try some of the duratrax shocks.

Also I switched to the GC3 to get rid of all the 2mm hardware and be able to run different shocks.

Well the truck landed me a 3rd place finish at Texas State Finals, bagging me a nationals invite. I have made a ton of upgrades to her and am really enjoying comping with her. Hopefully I will get a chance to update this thread soon.
