Your damn right you do if you want to run BTA. His knuckles open up way more options for it. My setup has been working great. The only issue is the servo case
sits a little to far forward for my taste, but your shallow futaba is the solution to that issue.

And those 1/8th rod links hold up great on these little rigs.

Newbie Question: What's BTA and why would you want to run it?

BTA behind the axle steering linkage. Keeps the linkage from hanging up on terrain.

Yup, that basically looks like what my intent is. I also think that this shallow servo will be perfect. It is also an extremely light little servo. The one thing I am slightly worried about are the gears. I will run the hell out of it and let you guys know though. Sometimes you need to know the limits of your rig get all the benefits though

Sorry, I was refering to the gears in the servo. For some reason I thought it didn't run metal gears but I was WRONG.

Gears actually look really good.

Man that would work perfect for my setup, I just wish it was a little stronger. I don't really want to run under 200oz.

I ran 340 oz/in on my last mini but just didn't like the speed. After running one that was just running a Hitec 645 AND running wideners I didn't feel like it would be that bad. I am usually one to go over kill on my servos too.

Good to hear! I haven't looked around in here much so I haven't noticed anyone running it yet.

I believe they limit your steering way too much due to clearance issues.

The AX-10 build is still a priority, there is just a lot of work going on behind the scenes I guess you could say. Stuff that is out of my hands and that I can't really give updates on until I get the stuff in hand.

Jim, Tom, Steve all take good care of me over at Vanquish. I can't wait to show some of the stuff they have coming out!

I better get my knucles before you!

You said LCC Stub Axles, will those axles fit the MRC?

These are knuckles are not the same as the standard knuckles. The offset and bearing sizes are different to support the larger diameter LCC stub axles I believe.
