Default MRC '72 CJ-5 1/10 build

I am new to the site and to RC crawling...

I thought it would be awesome to do a CJ5 scaler. The 1:1 wheelbase on '72 and later CJ5's is 84 inches, the MRC wheelbase is 8.5 inches... almost perfect 1/10 scale. I have been working on the tub for about a week and finally got around to taking pictures. I plan on building the basic outline and then shaping the rounded rear quarter panels, wheel wells, etc. This is the first time I have worked with styrene but I think it is coming along well.

little more progress on the tub. I finished the basic shape of the floor panels and the dash, trimmed off the square corners of the wheel wells and added the lip around the top. I am a little disappointed in myself for overlooking a measurement on the dash and the pillar it attaches to. basically it is twice as wide at the point where the windshield will go, but it is more work than it is worth to fix so I guess I will leave it.

I will add the indention later... unless I go insane first. I am trying to get the main basic shape and then I will add details as I get motivated.
