I am not at all trying to be difficult. At all... I just installed the GC3 too and am tuning it. The Losi shocks are also 11mm dia. at the springs. I pushed out the top mount 6mm with nylon spacers but have not yet moved the lower mount. (I would prefer not to.) I am a bit bummed with how much the springs hit the links though. I am going to limit the articulation to a reasonable amount and see of that fixes it first. Thanks to everyone for your help in the forum. Helhedded, Sorry i semi-hijacked the thread with my question. Lil Focker is awesome!

Have you put the 7/16" spacer/fuel tubing on the inside of your shock? My shocks are in the center of the lower mounts. There should be no need to move them out. You will probably run into an issue with the tire rubbing the shock if you move the shock to the outside of the lower mount. J

I have not added a spacer in the shock. Do you just drop that in the shock body before you put the shock pillar in?

If you put the limiters in, you will need to move the shocks back down. Yes, you put the tubing on the shock shaft before installing it into the body. J

| YES If you are running Losi Aluminum shocks you should put a .437 (7/16) piece of antenna tube inside to limit the down travel. This will make an amazining difference. |

Well after screwing up my Losi knuckles (got too happy with the dremel) 4xford hooked me up with a set that were drilled for a proper ackerman angle. The steering angle is much better now! I will get to comp with this truck this weekend at the Ark/La/Miss comp but I have to make sure that I take it easy to save it for ECC the following weekend because the 3s is fawkin nuts. I am pretty happy with Eddie's Single Stage Lil' Nova's in these Rovers. At first glance you think that the foam is way too soft but since they are so big they fill the tire nicely. I am having no problems what so ever with side hilling and tire roll.

You can buy them from Felsenfest, or you can make your own. Steering Ackerman..REdrill knuckles I think the Felsenfest way would be the cleanest. Doing it the way I've done it makes it to where your draglink has to be on the bottom of the knuckle instead of on top.

| Did you drill the holes in the back rims? If so did you weigh before and after ? Looks cool |

| Yes I drilled them myself. I honestly don't remember what they weighed before and after. It was enough to make a difference, though. Let me check for you.

Ok I wasn't able to measure the wheel only weights, but my front wheels and tire weigh 4.35oz each. (without the additional 3oz that I have in each front). My rear wheels and tires weigh 3.75oz each. So there is a little over half of an ounce that was lost. It wasn't much, but I like how the rig drives with everything that has been done so far so I can't complain |
