Ashton, let me know how you like the 4" rovers on your lil' focker. I have been thinking about getting Eddie to make me some but I haven't even tried the stock rovers on mine yet. I am still running my super soft cobra's. Truck is looking good by the way.

Shawn the tires worked well for me today. I finished in 1st with a -22 next to a moonbuggy in 2nd. The tires were brand new so they didnt bite as hard as I'm used to. Maybe it's the red compound? They seem to work better for me when they are well worn in. I did enjoy the taller tire, though. They really helped in some spots

-empty shock oil, remove the rubber shock bladder from the cap and replace the cap on the shock
-mount the shock in a vice (not absolutely necessary but recommended) don't clamp your shock too tight...
-cut off the mounting holes on the shock caps with a hack saw or dremel
-smooth the top of the cap with a file
-drill a 2.5mm or 3/32" hole in the middle of your shock cap
-tap the new hole for 3mm
-make sure no metal shavings are in your shock bodies
-blue loctite a 3x8 button head and bolt it into your cap
-add shock bladder and oil
-install rod end and enjoy

what weights?

oh you mean these

I threw these together a couple weeks ago. They are ugly as hammered shit but they get the job done. I bought the washers from Northern Tool and I just used .5oz and .25oz lead weights. Total weight of one is 1.9oz. That bronze washer was is a real pita to work with. I don't run a huge hex anymore so I had to put the weight on the inside of the knuckle.

hey, that knuckle weight setup looks gross. Probably works though. Guess they were good enough for the 1.9 win today.

Hey you motivated me to get it done when you told me that you made some for your mini

I wish that you could have made it. It got kinda nasty at the end.

Well just as an update I took this truck to ECC and finished in 12th. The only thing that hurt me was the body pins and mounts sticking out of the body. They really fubared my runs once I was on my lid at LRC.

I don't have any updates other than I"m back to running an up-front tierod. I lost a TON of servo power the other way. too many angles

Yep, Lil Focker is in the process of getting parted out. It was fun but it's time to move on to bigger things.
