Ryan a quick search of the forum will answer all your questions, when I started my build I used the beginners guide to the MRC at first to get ideas and then Losi MRC Ultimate Guide to find suppliers etc. I also searched through other peoples builds to see what seems to work.

A supplier for parts in UK I use is RC Addict

That's what I did when I got my MRC. Beginners Guide got me through my build. I still check it all the time!
