Default Tires

I am putting 1.9 aluminium wheels on my MRC and i was wondering what would be the best tires to get. The stock tires are not to bad they have a lot of grip but i don't want to go through the pain of removing the glue from the stock wheels. So any suggestions on tires to buy.

I did a tire poll earlier and rovers were picked more than 2-1 over chisels.
I got the rovers but haven't had a chance to run them yet...

Thanks everyone. And yes i do know about the search button just wanted some opinions. i do realize the stock tires are not great but for what I've been using them for i haven't had many problems. Then again i have nothing to compare them too yet. but i think I'm going to go with the rovers. thanks again.

not to be complete different but I'm using Losi bashers with a lot of success completely depends on what kind of rock you are crawling on

Rovers, my buddy has chisels and i have rovers and we have basically the exact same set ups and we both agree that mine crawls better because of the rovers, his chisels will get him there but not as easy as mine.

I went with the rovers. They are great and the one guy is right. The stock tires are good for carpet only. Now that i see what i can do with the rovers.

No, rovers are about the same size as stock.

rovers are about 0.25" taller and 0.25" wider then stock tires and sticky as all get out!

i sat the crawler on a plastic place mat over night, went to pick the crawler up and the placemat came with it!!!

just make sure to keep them clean and they'll stay sticky, i just rinse mine off with warm water after i run them.

Blue compound losi Claws. The stock Claws are made out of the same rubber as a "super ball" like kids play with, they do not work . The Blue Claws are the bomb.

I run the pro-line flat irons on mine and i love em, It seems like everyone in my area runs flat irons or chisels.
