Well, I've finished up the links (still might drop the rear uppers one hole) and switched back to the Losi shocks (after reading DelMonte's post about the new cartridges that he promises wont leak ). I've always like the Losis a bit better than the Duratrax, but I just couldn't keep them from leaking. I've got the stock pistons in all of them, limited a bit with 35wt in the rear and 25 wt in the front. I am also running the Mini-T springs (obviously, pink up front, red in the rear).

I am in the process of making up some new skins that aren't completely boring (like my previous clear skins were)....hopefully I can paint them today.

I am also running some new foams that I picked up from Eddie. When I get my new lipos in (325mAh 45C 2S), I'll get some runtime. The weather has been beautiful around here lately....let's hope it stays that way.

I'm hoping Santa Krawls has something in the mail for me soon.

But while I wait, I'm just gonna admire that hardwood floor you got there and speculate as to whether you have any furniture....??

Sorry.....after the flooring was installed, there was no money left for furniture. Our family just sleeps on the floor.....I've heard it's good for your back!

My kid likes to use the mini for a pillow.....but I find it's too short for an adult, so the wife and I use the scalers for pillows....

Clever work with the scalers, then if you get to feeling randy, you can winch her on over.....and on those floors she won't have traction enough to resist....

looks good j

my roof skin overlaps the side plates as to not do that....the production chassis has an added brace right there to keep the skin curve.

just put another brace there and you will be good.

Well, I got my new packs in! (45C 350mAh 2S TPs) This truck weighs 2.7lbs RTR.

I've been driving this thing up at work and it seems to work well! I need to put some thicker oil into the driver rear shocks to help fight some torque twist, but other than that, this thing is ready to rock.

Well, this truck has been performing quite well! I have had it out at my local testing spot and am pretty pleased with it's performance. These 325mAh packs are lasting me about 15 minutes which is perfect! Here are a few progression shots.

(steep vertical climb that needs a lot of throttle to jump the gap at the end....I landed it smoother a few times before these pics, but I guess that's how it goes)

(a decent climb)

I could NOT make either of these climbs with my previous setup (Reign Mini Widemouth running a brushless setup). I am very pleased with the performance of this truck and cant wait for our comp at the end of the month!

Oh, and BTW, Jake was right (haha....no pun intended).....these new cartridges for the MRC shocks are keeping them nice and dry!

Nice! That jump across the gap is killer, steep, your tires must HOOK.
You're running 3 springrates? How does the pink compare to DTX whites, if you've ran them? Pretty soft.
So you managed to fit your esc and battery under the hood? Does tje front crossbar want to rest on the battery? Mine does but it's 3s, you stayed 2s, right?

The pinks are WAY softer than the whites. I'd say that the reds are comparable to the whites. The orange spring is to help fight TT....it is only slightly stiffer than the red. The ESC is under the hood. The battery is in the trunk. Yep, 2S 325mAh TP pack....
