The carbon losi one works with a mini servo on the axle but I am not sure it will fit much of a larger servo AND battery up there. Paul. I have a template for a plate I can fax you to get it in the right scale that will allow you to run a full size servo with a 400 mah 3s pack on the axle. Let me know if you want it. I spent a ton of time mocking it up and finally got it drawn out the way I wanted it. I am using the junfac wideners though.

A little update. Rebuilding the mini.

Unfortunately I won't have time to finish it up untill after new years.

Made enough progress for another update. Mounted all of the electronics except for a new shorter servo thats on its way.

I made a new front link plate that has a battery mount on it. Also you can see where I mounted the bec.

I wrapped an oz of lead on each front knuckle.

And an oz on each rear lockout.

Made a thin lexan tray for the FXR and 3 channel futaba reciever on the rear links.

Overall the electronics are pretty low, I layed back the front axle to get the link plate flat and to get some caster. I also cut down the posts to lower it all some more.

I've had the TP 325 45c packs from Krawler Off-Road for a while, I just finally made room to run them. The front servo plate is cut from 2.5mm CF and has the battery tray behind the servo as part of it. I will be able to move the battery forward a bit more with the new servo. Also should be able to run the cubes there also if I want to.

I LIKE

What kind of rod ends are on your rear shocks? I kinda need to know, like NAOW.

Good Job! I like what you have done to it so far. I am even getting a few ideas for my own.

Very nice Shelby. Looks like you got everything located in a good spot now. I just got a mini, so I too will be stealing some of your ideas. Eddie is setting me up with the foam for some 4" rovers. Ill be makin' the tires.

Where you get your metal suspension link material? Is that 2mm as well? And are those 2mm rod ends as well, Dubro I assume?

Thanks Shane. These are the links that I am using:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVZN6&P=7

3mm rod ends mounted everywhere except using the 2mm MRC rod ends at the axles.

Your gonna love the 4" rovers.

Those are the Lunsford links for the MRC. Traxxas rod ends and the stock MRC rod ends will fit them.
