ok, so here's a question i have been wondering about, does the MRC Pro use more 3mm screws than 2.5mm ones? also, i am planning on ordering one, and maybe the novak mongoose set-up, which says it use a standard size pinion, is it ok to use a stardard sized pinion with this spur gear? and what is the pitch? i looked through the manual off of losi's site, and it doesn't mention in it what pitch the gears are.

I see no reference to tires. I guess if it doesn't start with "L", you're not supposed to talk about it?

Actually, I'd like to start comping with the blues because I have a bunch of them. Can I get closer to the "R" tire capability with siping and some attention to foams?

The Team Losi blue rovers work well, with siping and proper foams(Crawlerinnovations) medium front and soft rear.

The rovers just seem to hook better. That's just the down and dirty of it.

Rubbaneck-anything new on this setup? I am sure people are copying this thing all over the place.

On his website he suggests soft front and medium rear, why do you run them the other way? (I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything, I really want to know your reasoning)

Did you mean to say Team Losi blue Rock Claws, instead of blue rovers?

And did you mean to say soft front and medium rear?

They are not 48p FYI Check out this link for Robinson Racing products for the correct pinion pitch http://www.robinsonracing.com/catalog/rc18tmini.html

I won the Worlds with Losi Blue Rock Claws, still a great tire. The 2010 Nationals I ran rovers with stock foam. There is no need to buy different foams for the 1.9 class. Just run the stock and you'll be fine and also save a few bucks.

Good to know about the blue's capabilities. But your other comments referred to the Rovers. On the Losi blues, did you run them full tread with stock foams or was some tweaking involved?

Take a look on the first page in the first set of pics. Halfway through the claws are on aluminium rims. You'll see how I chopped them up

Until I read this last night I was thinking of changing chassis, but I might just keep the pro and set it up like this. Just got get rid of the damn torque twist and leaking shocks..
