Default Recycle MRC

Well I shall start if off with saying my camers SUCKS!!!! So bear with me. This is my first real build thread, if you read it and are confued let me know!

What I started with, I picked it up in a trade (thats what started my craze) It had a Mongoose 18.5 with it. Tons of Innetgy junk & metal lockers in axles but not the tranny (oops) Its was bind and drive away! SCORE!!!

Then I got the following to add on to it:
GC3 Chassi
Rc Bros 4 Link plate
Rc Bros BTA link
Rc Bros Hi Steer knuckels ( yea, i live down the road from him)
1.9 Losi Alu Crawler Rims & Extra heavy weights
Traxxas Mini E-Revo Mod.
1.9 Rover red dot tires
Lunsford Ti Turnbuckels for front upper links & Stearing link ( yea, i live down the road from him to!)
MIP CVD for the drive lines
Losi CVDs for the front axle
Losi C hubs
fuel tube to shocks mod
Crap silver blue rear lock outs
Losi threaded shocks
Thunder power 730mAh 2s Lipo

Back at it!

Well I dont have anything fancy to fab stuff up with. I wanted to spread the rear shocks out a little. The screws I have are LosA6247 2-56 X 3/4". A tad big. They threaded them selves into the little alu ball end. So for a spacer I used an Axial plastic ball end cut down to fit.

Tada!

God I live my camera! LMAO!!! I got some button head screws for the front axle & on the botton od the crappy blue silver lockouts ( Till the LHS gets in the losi ones)

Got to have a flex shot some where. I did limit the shocks some. You can see on the bottom of the Axle the button head screws.

Side shot. Im lookin for a body, dont know what I want yet. So the violated stocker will have to do.

Let me know what you think or dont like.

For those that want some help for there MRC try Rc Bros! Its awsome qualty & cheap prices.

Nice one. $50 well spent on the original MRC, especially with a mongoose on board!

Looks like you'll have a very capable rig, certainly more capable than your cameras focus system

Just a little confused by

I thought that they only offered 16g weights that come with the rims? Do you have a parts number?

Just need some action shots or a video and a funky shell

Great score on the original $50 purchase! Like what you've done with it, should perform very well.

Thanks for the quick reply but those weights are the same as come with the wheels at 16g per weight......

1.9 3 pc Bead Lock Wheel Set, Aluminum (4): MRC

Features
  • Durable aluminum wheel provides more weight to lower center of gravity
  • Angled inner bead allows for easier mounting than any other beadlock wheel
  • Stylized, heavy-duty, anodized beadlock rings clamp bead in place with included steel screws
  • Includes eight bolt-on 16-gram molded wheel weights that fit inside center of wheels
  • 12mm hex
Aluminum Wheel Weight Set, 30 g (4): MRC

Features
  • Weights weigh 16 grams each
  • Easily bolt onto center of 1.9 Aluminum Beadlock Wheels (LOSB1472)
So, unless your wheels came with no weights you've just bought more of the same. Be nice if they were 30g per weight for the fronts. Please weigh them to sate my confusion!

I will take one apart. They are bigger. I never weighed them though.

EDIT: After goin through the trash can, (Thank god it was just dumped, just a little junk to dig arround) found the label! Got to love rain! Got the rim diassembled, the 1/2 rings do weigh 30g EA. This is an up-grade for the MRC. The LHS has one set left. Pm me if you want them.

Brilliant, thanks chap. Looks like Losi need to sort out the website if they want to increase sales of this item !

Love you to pick me up a set but I'm in the UK so it's probably uneconomical to post them. Thanks for the offer though, much appreciated .

Either that or you will like mine so much you will give in to the dark side again. I will give you a hint. The Losi Pro has lockers all the way around. Plus other goodies.
