Default BWD mini wedge build finally!!

Here are pics of my build finally. I might need a little tuning help though as it flips like crazy and rolls pretty fast too.

BWD Wedge Chassis
BWD wheels Aluminum front Delrin rears. Weights all the way around the inside of rims.
Cut and Shut prolines.
Tekin FXR
hitec 635 (?)
Thunder pro 430 3s
Custom front tray
Junfac front wideners
I am not sure who the front knuckles and C's are but drilled to 3 mil.
CC BEC
HH Torquemaster mini.

Come comp with us this weekend and we will give your rig a good look over and offer some guidance to get your rig where ours are. Chad and CD are coming down I believe as well...so we should have several Mini Wedge's there. I'll even bring along one of my new rear link mounts that uses the stock lower links as rear uppers

Sounds interesting, are these going to be available as a hop up on the website?

Good looking rig, love those wheels, let us know how you get on at the weekend.

I am definitely looking forward to this weekend. I would love and welcome all the advice I can get on setup. Don, let me know how much I am gonna owe you for one of those rear link setups and I will bring some serious coin.

Good news Don

Mark, it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned - get yourself a set of aluminium Vertex ordered up. Keep it BWD.

Oh, and the update to my thread is imminent and patience a virtue!

Rotten. I saw your build a long time ago and have kept a close eye on it. I am wanting to go with longer uppers as well.

Don. I will have a 5 million dollar bill for you this weekend. Well minus the 4 mill and a hole lotta change.

Well I comped it today and it was absolutely amazing. I went in expecting my setup to be really off and found that for the most part I am on the right track. My actual problem was my radio settings. Thanks to Rock Hard for some tips and pointers on my radio settings. Don, one heck of a chassis for sure. Great fun to see it perform well beyond my expectations. Keep the good things coming our way Don. You are good at what you do for sure.

Rick,it's amazing the difference a small adjustment of the radio can make isn't it.

There was 5 BWD wedges that I witnessed as I judges the courses today.
I also got the chance to drive kieths not long ago.
I have to say,the wedge is a performer. No doubt there are others that perform well also. But not many that perform aswell as the wedge, after today its my opinion the wedge is a chassis that will instantly improve nearly every drivers abilities.

I was not real sure it really mattered what kindof drivers we are. Just keep tuning and ask for forgiveness later.

On major change coming for my rig. I just ordered 1.9 rovers for a cut and shut attempt to make a 4 inch tire. I saw them on someone elses rig and I had to give it a go. Should give me a better cog than my 4.25 proline hammers.

Good to hear, the rovers will probably improve your trucks abilities instantly.
Though the siped tires you had seemed to hook on that sandstone really good.

Hurry up with the pics already

Finally got the pics done of the rovers. Other changes.

Mounted the BEC below the servo tray.
Mounted a Sidewinder esc down low beside the tranny on some delrin.
Took the rx out of it's box and mounted inside the delrin.
Mounted a fat savox servo up front.
I think I got my COG much lower.
