Default question?

i have a mini crawler and i love it but i have a few questions about the setup? i got the crawler used, the guy i got it from removed the springs from the shocks, took the foams out of the tires, and the esc is on the battery plate with the receiver not on the axle. what could be the reason for this? im curious??

the springs removed is a droop setup.
and the others down lower on the crawler for a lower center of gravity.
as for the foams removed. I am not sure why. but you need foam
in your tires for sure. look around on rcc you will find some setups
and such on foam and droop.

I hope this helps.
