| Gonna get one.
Well Looks like I'll be getting a mini crawler friday. The shop doesn't have the crawler I want in stock, but after perusing around here. I am really liking the Mini as a starter. Any add ons I should get right away?

Start pouring through the threads. Chassis's are huge unless your picking up the MRC Pro. There is alot that you can do for improvements on these. Enjoy it.

if you already have a radio the mrc pro is the way to go it has all the first hop ups besides the aluminum you need the electronics but most replace those from stock anyways

i agree with rocks for brains. metal lockers font center and rear are a must.a full size servo is also a good upgrade. the stock chassis does ok with some tweaking but if you want a new chassis i would look at the mini juice, mini wedge. t1e moonbuggy, or gc3. you would definitly be better off starting out with the mrc pro if you have a radio. it come with all the upgraded parts your gonna buy. either way you go about it enjoy this awesome hobby LOL

Depends on your preference mainly. I have a GC-3 chassis at comp level with a lovely red Grappler body. It works superbly. However I am in the process of building a mini-juice (bodyless chassis). So I will be able to try them both and decide which I personally prefer. Its nice to see everyone with something a little different I think.

| This comes down to personal taste, I don't think one is better than the other. There are a good half dozen or more bodies for the MRC so it's easy to give it a different shape and look, with a buggy you are mostly restricted to changing the body panels.
