Default HR wheel hex and VP LH Wheels

I have the wider HR wheel hexes and with the stock nylon nut there is not enough bite with my VP wheels. The nuts keep backing off. Anyone had this issue? Anyone resolve it?

how long till they back off?
I try to remember to check em after every course.
You can thread the nut on nylon 1st(backwards) so there is more thread going through the nylon.

I am sure you can find others, but I have had excellent results with the Aluminum hardware from Fastener Express:

The purple look like a lower profile than the blue. Is this the case?
