...get those little wire clip retainers in place to hold the o-rings in??? Is there a secret to it? I'm usually very patient, but these tiny little things have me ready to shoot something!!! :x

Haha....I knew what this said even before I opened the thread! :lol:

Never tried this myself, but I have read about others putting the clips in with the whole lot and your hands inside a larg zip lock bag. Personally, I chose to have them shoot all over the damn place and search for the on the floor.

Best advice I can give is to work from one side to the other...

I've been on my hands and knees crawling around on the floor a half dozen times already.

It's not the shooting accross the room that's got me pissed. I've been at it for about and hour and a half and still have yet to get one of them to seat. I can't figure out how to get that little fawker to go in place!

Maybe my fingers are just too big for those things, but I've also tried precision screw drivers and small needle nosed pliers.

Just another day at the office ehh?

In short those retainers suck but I found a trick. I just put one end of the clip into the slot then took a small screwdriver and just pushed the other end into the grove while applying pressure. hopefully you can visualize this in your head. I built mine inside a plastic baggy but it only worked when i started one end into the groove. Worked like a charm, had mine built in 5 minutes. Hope this helps.

I lost two of them when i did mine .....unbelievably:shock: i found both after about an hour of searching

All done. I really hated these at first, but the last 2 went quickly. No bag needed.

These were a total c*nt to put together, there is no trick just luck... I wanted to kick the engineer(s) in the dick... But I did mine a few months ago, so I feel better now...

Haha, I can just picture you crawling aroun looking for them as I did the same. I finally sat in the small hall bathroom with te door shut to limit how far they fly !!! but they are well worth it

Ok. Here's how I did it.

First off, I installed the shock shaft. It makes if a bit more difficult to work around, but it keeps the retainer from shooting off in an unknown direction.

Next, make sure you get the o-rings and black pieces shoved in as far as possible.

Then slide one end of the retainer in the groove and hold it in place with your thumb nail. Using a medium flat precision screw driver, work your way around the retainer a little at a time. Shove the retainer inward and then down into the center. move to the next spot.

Once I did that, they went together rather quickly.
