Quick note from Texas. I went from a 33t on 3s lipo to a 2s setup for other electrical reasons. The 2s on a 33t is just not where it is at my friend. Either stay with the 3s and 33t and sell me the 22t or be happy and don't worry...or something like that.

Took the mini juice back to Brimham again, a few weeks later for a play (with the XR10). Lots of interest from people passing (its a popular walking/climbing/picnic/family day out type area), let a guy from Sri Lanka have a go, he loved it - and was prety good with his throttle control! Carnage: Broke a shock lower rod end after a fall. Generally pretty tough all round, I give it a fair bit of abuse (especially running the 22T holme motor). An impressive little beasty. Always impresses me after using the XR10, as the mini will go 90% of the places the XR10 will (depending on the size of the obstacles of course!) Panels: Made from lexan sheet, the design I threw together a while back ("Borrowed" some images from the web). Easy to do - I printed my design onto printable vinyl sheet cut out and stuck on! (first I scanned the lexan panels into the computer, then overlaid the deisgn onto the panels before printing.) I then cover the skin with a self adhesive film to help protect from rock rash. I use the same design for my xr10 (BJ4 chassis) panels: have fun everybody! Last edited by Gfresh; 05-03-2011 at 02:20 PM. | |

| Only place you can get Holmes Hobby MRC motors these days is second hand. He is looking to find a replacement as the supplier went bust I believe. Alernative would be a Contraband motor but these are out of stock until June/July apparently.

Thanks for the update Gfresh. I've been to Brimham Rocks - it's a great place, but that was before I was crawling. Got a friend who lives in Harrogate and I'm up visiting in July, so maybe we could hook up? Got any pictures from either trip? I love the look of both your trucks in that picture Thanks for the panel info, you make it sound easy but is it easy for a chap with a PC, printer and the interweb? Any tips on programmes and suppliers of printable vinyl sheet? Thanks in advance |

Toying with the idea of selling the mini juice :-( Not got time for two rigs, with work, kids etc. Any advice on whether to sell as a running rig, or split. How much is it worth etc etc. Would be sad sad sad to see her go, but I feel guilty having her sat in a cupboard. |

Had the mini out this weekend, forgot how capable and agile it is. Getting less tempted to put the beasty up for sale. The holmes 22t motor really packs a punch. She might benifit from another oz of weight up front I reckon, going to hunt for some big washers to fit inside the front hub/wheel. |

I sold a GC3 comp ready rig and regretted it so I bought one of the cheap MRC Pros because I missed my MRC. With the MRC possibly being discontinued, it might be something worth hanging on to unless you need the money. Quote:

| Mini Juice - up for sale
I decided to put the mRC up for sale. Just had our second child, and with work, family and an XR10 to look after, the little mini crawler is dormant. I never like to have things lying around not being used so I put it for sale on our UK forum and ebay (UK). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Losi-Mini-...item3a6a399e9b I was not sure whether to stick it on here, but with the pound vs dollar exchange, not sure it would be a great bargain for those in the US. (I wanted £295 plus postage. Which is about $475 !) If she sells, I will miss her - such a great rig. But there you go. Gavin |
