I'm using a 320mah 3 cell Hyperion. I think it was about $17.

I run Elite 850 7.4V 2S pack from http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com. I have great results from this pack and it is really small.

I sorta hate to admit it, but I use the Losi 2S cubes. Very expensive (comparatively), but work well, and are a great size to put beside the servo on the servo/batt tray.

I have a nano-tech by Turnigy.
850mah (some will say thats too big but I like the runtime, and it fits well in my mini juice ontop the front links).

Can be charged at upto 5C too (i.e. 15min charges!). Seems to balance pretty well. No complaints from me. and its got dark blue wrapping. Which is nice.

I run the 3S 850mAh in my 2.2 comp and love them. The 370s or 460s are plenty for a 1.9 comp rig. That is if you are swapping batteries every course.

It is, but the bottom line still ends up being less than half the cost per battery when compared to Hyperion, PolyRC, etc. And the performance is every bit as good.

For the first few cycles, yes. Then they drop way down. Still decent bot not where the Hyperions and Thunder Powers are.

Not trying to start a pi$$ing contest, but I own about every brand (except Max Amps...) and Turnigy / Zippy is on par with all of them.

Maybe the guys around here running those ones got some duds. I got a couple of the Rhino 45c's. My Hyperion is older, more cycles and still outperforms my Rhino's.

All personal opinion unless you have the high end gear to test them but based on the charger I have used to do a discharge comparison on them, the Hyperions have held a higher voltage longer into the discharge the the zippy's and the Rhino's and have stayed with more consistant discharges as they get older.

No doubt, Hyperion's are top of the line, and probably the best battery out there. I had one take some serious abuse that even involved short circuting it accidently due to a poor solder job on an adaptor. It puffed up and got quite hot, but amazingly is still working very well and still accepts more charge than it's rated for.

My turnigys dont seem to shine like day 1.

my hobbypartz lipos feel like the same as day 1.
