Default Losi MRC Pro build.

I have built two 2.2 comp crawlers and decided to build my first 1.9 comp crawler. With some advice from some guys in my club ( WARCRC ) I went ahead with my build. Here is what I have so far.

*Losi Pro roller.
*Holmes hobbies 22 turn mini torquemaster. Stock pinion and spur.
*Tekin FXR ESC mounted on rear upper links.
*CC BEC wired direct to servo and set a 6Volts, mounted on rear upper links.
*JR DS8711 servo (403oz at 6Volts)
*Modified stock servo plate along with AX10 plate and center mounted the servo leaving the upper links in stock position.
*MIP CVD driveshafts
*Spektrum reciever for DX3R.
*Overdrive front axle mod with traxxas pinion gear.
*MaxAmps 860 lipo batteries mounted on front upper links via lexan and velcro. these packs provide a ton of juice and great run times. They fit perfect with no room to spare.
*Losi aluminum zero ackerman steering knuckles and c hubs.
*Vanquish products "Little Harry" procomp wheels with 2 sets of bullet weights.
*Crawler Innovations single stage nova foams, soft in front, med in rear.
*HB 1.9 Rover tires.
*Front wheels with full weights, foam, and tires=7.9oz
*Rear wheels with 2 weights, foam, and tires-4.7oz
*Outboarded shocks with losi kit.
*Outboarded upper links.

Still to do: Underdrive on rear axle. Custom 4" tires. Thank you to BaDDMaN, and Cboggs for all there help. This little crawler crawls great, I am very impressed. Here are a couple action shots at my local comp/Crawl spot.

Hows the 22turn motor feel?

I have both the 33T ad 22T from John Holmes, only tried the 33T for now. It feels real good. Plenty wheel speed and torque, really controllable low down too. I was going to try the 22T but worried about losing low end fine control?

It has good low end torque and the throttle response is very smooth. It also has a decent amount of wheel speed. I will be buying a 17 or 18 turn mini contraband crawler mafia motor from paul when he has more availible just because I hear they are the best.

im running the 18 with a 2s and if the course requires some rock hopping i'll use a 3s im starting to use the 3s more and more, you just need to be careful on the trigger finger. I had to drill the cvd's and put in bigger drill bits to keep them from breaking.

I had the same question, The website is confusing. I had to call and ask. So yes, a quantity of 1 = 2 wheels. So for the wheels, beadlocks and two weight sets everything in my shopping cart had a QTY of 2. And I love the wheels and will be buying a set of the DH procomp 2.

I will post some in a couple days, I got the rig tore down a little to redo my upper link plated where I mount my battery in front, and BEC and ESC in rear. Just been busy with family.

Paul from crawler mafia has the underdrive method. No drop in mod yet.

Send him a PM, He will hook you up or read his thread and do it yourself. Crawler Mafia UnderDrive Mod

Body off shots are going to have to wait a little longer. My rear axle is off the rig for some custom work.
