Default Rear axles

So I keep having to replace my rear axle shafts after about every second comp because they bend and clown my wheels. I am using the upgrade Losi stainless ones (LOSB1424). Does anyone know a better solution (other than driving all dainty-like so they don't get bent)? Thanks!

I was running into the same problems until I went with what Egressor did in his build. my mrc rebuild

It's a bit of work and kinda needs somebody that can do some machining, but it is very solid.

I used the Losi straight axles for a half hour and they bent.
Now I run aluminum lockouts with stock axles. Almost 2 years on 'em, no breakage.

I was wondering about doing that, all my rigs have been bought used and came with the "upgraded" axles, so I figured there was a reason why none of them had the stock ones. Sounds like going back to stock is a cheap, quick, and easy solution.

I'm also running stock modified front axles. I got real tired of cvd's breaking for no good reason. I would do the lcc mod & fest knuckles but it's too much $$, have other crawler priorities.
