| hot racing product questions
I bought some hr shocks , c's , and knuckles I was Wondering if the knuckles were zero ackerman and also I am having trouble with my shocks not wanting to flex when the front flexes a rear tire raises and won't stay grounded

The HR knuckles are not Zero ackerman steering setup. They aren't super hard to shorten the arm and get it close to zero. As for your suspension question it would be best to post picks of your set up. Remember more flex isn't necessarily good. A lower center of gravity rig with less travel will almost always out crawl a super flexy rig. post some pics. |

Wow, looks like complete lack of flex!, does your suspension articulate ok if you move it by hand?? If so, I am guessing either; your springs are far too stiff, or there is something binding up and sticking (maybe internal shock part?). Try removing the springs from shocks, then run it and see how the suspsension flexs, see if there are any sticking points. If not, it points back at too stiff a spring. Hope that helps a little. |

Sounds about par for Hot Racing. They make pretty looking stuff that doesnt work well. I'd put them a notch above Integy. Personally, I think the Losi Aluminum shocks with the new cartridges are the best out there for the MRC. |

Haha thanks g seems like if I used my head I could have figured it out but now I'm at a crossroads on what to do droop semi droop normal Idk. I have searched around and crawled a few threads but just can't seem to make up my mind

ya im running 5 0z give or take a little (dont know what the washers weigh) per wheel and none in the rear. also have a hs5645mg hitec servo

Anyone have any suggestions towards suspension setups regarding comping I just can't make up my mind what to try next. I have checked threads here and there but can't come up with a good solution. I am open to all suggestions send me a pm ( if you want to be secretive haha) or post here. I NEED HELP!!!

also consider swapping out the blue springs in the rear for the stock silver, they are softer. |
