By "ugly slop" are you talking about steering or actual wheel movement. Adding metal lockers will assist, so will checking condition of wheel hexes and wheel hexes.

If it is steering engineering new links with ends will help. So will a qualit servo and horn

Please in the future be specific in your questons,we are here to help but can't read your mind

Will do. I was referring to the unwanted wheel movement when I'm not driving. I would say around a quarter to half inch of wheel movement

Funny cause I have metal lockers in front and center, but not in the rear and the front wheels have more movement then the rear.

I'm going to try the setup from rcbros. Maybe it will help. I just used there high clear knuckles and it fixed my steering slop. I'll post when they come off backorder.

I have one pair of the RCBros lockers in my comp rig and a set of the Hot Racing lockers in my daughter's 1.9'er. The cheaper lockers wear out far too quickly and develop a ton of slop. The RC Bros are great, but good luck getting a set. I'm not sure if or when they're going to make another run of them. I know if they do, I'll be sure to get another set. ...until then, I just deal with the slop in my daughter's rig.

I seem to have developed loads of slop from the transmission (front only). Reckon my output shafts' square dowel is rounding in the metal locker :(
