Default New esc/speed controller

I have a Losi mrc and need a new esc and speed controller I was thinking about converting to a brushless. I don't know if I want something fast just for rock crawling? If you have any ideas or something I could by from you or if you have some website suggestions reply.

A esc is a speed controller,do you just want a good esc,or are you looking for a good motor/esc combo?

masn that sux you wasted your electronics

You can pick up a used rx for around 40 shipped some times.
and I see mongoose systems used for around 65 shipped alot.

so around 100 and your back in buisness if you buy used.

There are some brushless systems that are fine for crawling.
Do yo have a good hobby shop in your area?

my local hobby town tends to keep the mongoose system in stock and they should have a spektrum rx that will work with your stock tx. my shop is pretty good about matching or at least getting close to online prices if i bring in a printout of the website.

i have the 18.5 mongoose in one of my comp crawlers and have been very happy with it

it really will come down to your personal preference, i got my mongoose for $100 USD and have been really happy with it in my comp rig any way you go will be a huge improvement from the stock setup.

if you want to go brushed check out ROCK HARD's motors

crawler mafia handwound 1.9 comp motors

or Holmes hobbies

http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...&cat=17&page=1

those would both be huge improvement over stock, keep in mind you will want a new speed control for either of those motors

If you have someone that will help you with setting stuff up I highly recommend putting a castle sidewinder micro in with a contraband motor. Contact Paul with a private message to see what he has and what he recommends for you. You will find Paul to be about the nicest and most helpful guy out there.

Thanks for the kid words guys

I would not suggest my motor for you at this time.Honestly I think a brushless system is right up your alley.
