so, this is my MRC
free mods...
removed battery plate
esc on front upper links
rx on rear upper links
shocks mounted where battery plate used to be
solder on front wheels
foams removed in all 4 tires (big help in my eyes)
flipped tranny
full size servo 110oz. (this is free cuz i had it laying around)
lowered body bout 1"
cut bottom of body and front of body for the full size servo


$$$ mods so far...
2s lipo 650mah
integey bent lowers front and rear

this is why i love the 1.9's more than 2.2 you can make huge changes and improvements for very little money.

if you get the cash, fit a set of HB Rovers (and their foams!) and you will be amazed at the bags of extra grip on the rocks over the slippy stock tyres.
(it means cutting off the old tires carefully, and glueing the Rovers (or buying some beadlocks, or doing the beadlock mod for the stock wheels)).

Good work on the free mods, looks great.

Thanks guys!!! Rovers are definatly on my list... I have them on my 2.2 and love them. Also some 1.9 axial beadlocks, 2.4ghz rx (I got my mrc in a trade), and go with 4link. My only problem is my fiance doesn't want me spending money on my toys til after our wedding in june... what to do, what to do... lol
