| axle gears strip alot
i have to shim my rear axle alot we have monthly comps n we have mini comps once or twice a week. b4 the main comp i have to shim or replace the gears. i run the tsl swampers so i know the tires r biggr n have binding issues in the rocks but is there a way to strenghten the housings or better gears out there any ideas anyone? n rite now its mostly indoor comps so holes r common

Have you done the axle bolt mod? Replace the four 2mm screws around the diff with longer bolts and add a hex nut to sinch the axle together.

Another thing that I did was shim the diffs to remove the side to side play.

the bolt mod is working good i havnt had to reshim 4 a couple weeks now finally haha have you guys tried the underdrive im really thinkn i need to try it rockhard how long does ur rear diff last now?
