The look of my home-made wheels.
They are made of Delrin and I'll take the VP Hub
The first wheels are all 13mm wide.
I will do that with 16mm and 20mm.
I do weights from aluminum and steel stanless.
In the HB Rover I experiment with home-made forms with different hardnesses and sizes.

Greetings tom

Great job, I like everything you have done. Are you planning on making the wheels or are they for just you??

The PL Caliber SC are really good to drive.
I make a set of tires from PL SC Bow Fighter. have an interesting profile.

HB there are also some SC and 1 / 8 buggy tires that might work very well.

sweet rig!! I'm wondering why you ditched your BTA steering...the steering with the servo and lipo mount out front was awesome!! I was thinking about setting mine up that way but now I'm wondering why you changed??
your new setup up seems like it would hang up on rocks like crazy???

when steering with the Servo and lipo mount out front, I have the problem that will only fit one small servo. But he has too little power.
The angled BTA steering linkage is too much bends and the steering very inaccurate when the tire is pressed against the a stone.
But I can not make thicker, because too little space between the servoplate and axle.

If I only have the servo on the axle and BTA steering, I can build a strong swhen steering with the power and lipo mount out front I have the problem that will only fit one small servo. But he has too little power.
The angled bends BTA steering linkage is too much and the steering very inaccurate when the tire is pressed against the stone. But I can not make thicker, because too little space between the plate and servo axis.

If I only have the power to the steering axis and BTA though I can build a strong Servo, but the Servo is very far forward, so that the servo horn has a space. The BTA steering but very flexible.
So I've just converted to steering. For me, the best solution
I remain less well depend on the rock and I can push away the stone from the steering angle.

I hope you understand, my english is not good.
