Default Is the Pro Roller Worth Buying?

I am thinking of buying another MRC and was looking very closely at the MRC Pro Roller. I have reviewed the builds on here and from the specs it looks to be a nice rig but wanted the opinion of a few of you that have one if all the hop ups justify the price and if it really is capable or will it still need a lot of work?

Yeah, its that good. CA glue the edges of the carbon fiber chassis to prevent cracking and get the aluminum C's LOSB1412 and Zero ackerman knuckles LOSB1432 and your good to go.

I thought it came with the Zero Ackerman knuckles, that is one of the things that I really liked about it or does it come with plastic ones and you recommend the aluminum ones? What is the performance difference? Do the plastic ones give?

Does the pro roller come all together or all in pieces like the XR10?
Cheers

I think it comes already assembled, hence "roller". Just have to add in some electronics n servos.

Nice! I just ordered one & want to get ready for a comp next weekend so I was thinking is it 4 hours to go time or more like 24 hours if it was a kit once I get it. Cheers!

One thing to do when you get it is go over all the screws and make sure they are tight. Also use some locktite on the cvd set screws, there is none on them from the factory. Last thing is use some CA glue on the outer edge of the chassis. It will help the graphite from splintering which made lead to a crack.
My wifes has been running strong for your whole winter season and has a few summer comp on it. No problems.
Have fun with it.

I just bought one of these. I'm still working on making the electronics fit. This pro chassis is tiny.
Anyone know if the shock have oil in them straight out of the MRC pro kit? I so what weight?

Thanks psychomonkey. I didn't want to take them apart if I didn't have too.
