Default does anyone trun the metal trans. gears?

Broke a drive gear today- wondering if I should go ahead and buy the mrc hr gears? Thoughts?

i just got a new brushless system, got a new trans too. i just got the stock plastic gears and it works great, no issues. im sure metal couldnt hurt though

I swapped mine out after a few years running without them. Might as well swap in the metal as long as you're replacing them.

I built mine with the HR gear set and destroyed the counter gear, so now i run the stock counter gear and HR drive gear. Have had no problems

iam running hr gears in my trans and no issues yet (knock on wood)
