Default RC4WD 1.9 wheels and tires

Ordered 2 MRCs today and was wondering what kind of mounting do the wheels use? As is 12mm hex? I am curious because I really like the RC4WD beadlocks and tires. But hate to spend the money on something that needs a ton more tweaking or adapting to make it work. Also savox vs. Hi tec......opinions?

And yes I did look for this answer on the forum but i guess I justy missed it.

Yes, 12mm hex. But you may want to invest in the hex upgrade.
I just did the pro and it came with plastic hexes that were totally jammed into the wheels. Thought they were part of the wheels at first.

Have fun, An old Kansas plow boy

I should also mention wheel wideners. several of the RC4WD wheels have more offset than the stock wheels. You'll get some rub on tight turns. I do.
The JunFac wideners fit onto the pin so they are your hex. Here's one link http://www.tcscrawlers.com/2.2-Wheel...g-p-16233.html
