Default No Drag Brake In Reverse?

My new MRC Pro came in this week and I installed the stock ESC along with an RX-280 (Slider) motor. It has a good drag brake and stops on itself and pops up the rear when it is going forward and you let off the throttle. However, when you put it in reverse and then let it go it continues to roll backwards and I am not sure why. I did have to reverse the channel that is used for the throttle on my radio (the new Flysky GT3B), not sure if that is an issue or not. Any ideas?

Have you checked your throttle trim?
It could be that if its set at reverse even slightly then when you let off the throttle it will think it still has a small amount of throttle. That happened to me today actually I thought something was messed up. Turned out my throttle trim was set to forward a little bit. I think it got bumped... easy to happen for me since I have the DX3E and it has nobs for my kids to mess with
